Freshman Dance

This is another entry for the June DCVW Stack-a-holic Challenge. I used the Teenage Dream Stack for this page of my son's Freshman Dance. I love the pennants that come with this stack. So fun!

I have not posted anything in ages--yikes! Between work and family life, I have not been too creative in 2012. Most of my scrapbook layouts have been for my Design Team work for Mosaic Moments. I love the monthly Stack-a-holic Challenges on the DCWV blog. I have many of their stacks and I love using sketches to guide my scrapping. I was going to scrap some photos today and I checked the DCWV blog for the June challenge.

Here is my take on the sketch. I used "The Green Stack" to  create my layout.

Junior High

I purchased the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cart but have not used it very much, which is a shame, since it is loaded with wonderful stuff. I wanted to scrap this photo of the kids and noticed this CTMH Typeset paper in my pile. My kids were going into 7th and 9th grades this year, so I thought the paper would be great for the LO. I pulled out the cart and looked for a tag to use for the photo. Found one I liked and also some banner and oval frames and let the cutting begin! A very simple page but I wanted the paper's features to shine as well as the kids!
